How to Win Shrimp Game – All Games Explained

With our How to Win Shrimp Game guide, you can go into your next round with confidence, knowing what to expect, and how to come out on top.

Can you beat the Shrimp Game? To beat the first round, you’ll need to know how to run in Shrimp Game, as speed and fast reflexes are the keys to your success.

How to Win Shrimp Game

7 different games inspired by Squid Game have a chance to appear during each round. The first is always Red Light, Green Light to get you started! To win Shrimp Game, you must survive until you’re the last player standing. Here’s how to beat every game:

Mingle

Introduces in season 2 of Squid Game, all players stand on a carousel that spins before receiving a prompt. This prompt asks you to get into a group of a specified number and get into an available room.

As the challenge goes on, fewer rooms are available, and with randomly generated prompts, you never know how many people you need to find in the next round. To combat this game, I usually stand outside of a room and jump around to alert other players that I need a partner.

Red Light, Green Light

The iconic challenge that sees players running across the sand towards a terrifyingly tall animatronic doll. As she says ‘green light’, you need to run forwards. When she says ‘red light’, you must cease all movement.

The most important thing is keeping a balance between moving quickly to beat the timer and having quick reflexes to stop moving once the light goes red.

The slightest movement results in you being eliminated from the competition. Be careful, as you can sink into the sand, though I’m not sure if this was just a bug that I encountered. If a player has the Push item, they can betray you, so watch out.

Dalgona

This game is unfair to anyone who isn’t using a mouse. I can’t even imagine what it’s like on touchscreen! It was difficult enough when using my laptop’s trackpad for it.

You are given 4 blank honeycomb discs to choose from. It flips around to display which shape you picked! Triangle and circle are the easiest, with the umbrella taking the longest to complete.

Move the needle across the outline without touching the space outside. If you do go out of the line, the honeycomb starts to slightly crack each time. Watch the timer though, as it begins counting down as soon as the challenge begins.

Lights Out

During Lights Out, it’s every man for themselves. The lights go off, an alarm blares, and you suddenly have a shank in your inventory. Run away from those trying to attack you and defend yourself against other players. If you are hit, you are eliminated. Survive until the timer runs out! You can also try to hide behind the beds, but this doesn’t always work out.

Tug of War

All players are split into 2 teams and are placed on opposing platforms. There is a rope between both, and as the name suggests, it’s a tug of war. The further your team pulls the rope, your opponents start to fall off of their platform.

A bar appears at the bottom of your screen, which tells you to press a button (this differs depending on the device you’re using) when the line enters the green area. As long as your team members do this successfully, as well as yourself, you can win!

Glass Bridge

A game of chance. There is a pathway of glass panels, with 2 on either side. One cannot withstand the weight of a player, and the other can.

Players who decide to jump first have a 50/50 chance of falling and being eliminated. Someone needs to pave the way, which should be the person who has the Glass Tester item.

However, the timer seems to run down pretty quickly, especially when you are all standing around waiting for someone to test their luck. Get to the other side to win!

Squid Game

The final game. It’s like Lights Out, with it being a purely PvP battle. This challenge takes place outside, and the only way to win this one is by evading oncoming attacks and managing to knock down your opponents. The last person standing wins the competition!
