The Privilege of Money

I think the greatest privilege of money, having liquid money, cash, or a bitcoin at hand is the infinite optionality of it. The fact that you could get things that you want, without having to barter, or exchange things.

For example, imagine if you had 100 bars of gold. Imagine how much of a pain in the butt it would be to have to somehow exchange bars of gold or dematerialize it in order to purchase petroleum for your automobile car, to take your kid rockclimbing or whatever.

The privilege of living?
